Lone Star Transmission, LLC (Lone Star Transmission) is a rate-regulated transmission utility that operates within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and is regulated by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT).  

Lone Star follows the ERCOT Nodal Protocals and Operating Guides and coordinates all transmission operations with ERCOT.  Lone Star operates its transmission system in compliance with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) reliability standards as enforced by the Texas Reliability Entity (Texas RE).

Lone Star Transmission is committed to providing information to the public through filings with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and through other documents.
